The Tetraflow™ flow cell has been optimised for use with 3mm chips (although with a bit of adapting, it can also be used with the 5mm x 5mm chips!).

The flow cell is free standing and has reservoirs on either side of the chip. The flow cell is designed to seal tightly around the chip ensuring that the only connection between the to halves is the nanopore positioned in the center.

The Tetraflow™  is equipped with syringe adapter (Luer type) fluid inlets and outlets on both sides. These allow the reservoirs to be filled and emptied using syringes or pipettes and also serve as access ports for the electrodes.
